Hard at Work

Due to particularly bad weekend weather, the onslaught of a cold and the desire to putz around with the site, Kabus and I were hard at work this weekend.

We setup a brand new casino in Skara Brae.  The rent ran out on the counsilor guild and we took over that space.  Texas Hold'em, slots, blackjack and HiLo are now available there.  There is also a banker on hand and a bartender.  Stop by and blow some money. :)

In addition to that, we installed Spellcrafting.  Basically spellcrafting is a system by where a player can add magical attributes to weapons and armor.  Please drop by the message forum for a more detailed description.

Been A While
Mood:  a-ok
It has been a while since we had a post in here... so, I thought it was about time.  I setup a message forum at http://copperbottomsfolly.yuku.com last night.  That may make this obsolete, but we shall see.  I am going to transfer some of the information into threads there.  Stay tuned.

New Features

It has been a while since I have posted an entry here.  So, I am just going to summarize all of the changes / additions in one posting.

New Creatures:

All of these also have BODs that are available for them.  They are also inclded in some Large BODs.

Added the Gargoyle Knife,  Gargoyle's now drop these randomly.  Depending on the level of the Gargoyle you kill, you have a better chance of getting one... so, a regular Gargoyle might be a 1 in 50 chance whereas a Destroyer might be a 1 in 20.

Web Site Update
Mood:  happy
I updated the web site today with some custom graphics, an extended main page with some additional information and a few screenshots on the features page of some of the things that have been added to the game and you may run into.

Picky Beetle and New Steeds

We have added the Picky Beetle, a fellow that sweeps up nearly everything on the ground in his path. 

We have also added three new mounts, the Corrosive Stallion, Lava Steed and the Zephyr Filly.

Imperial Dragon
Added the Imperial Dragon to the creature list.

New Taming BODs
Five new Large Bulk Order Deeds have been added to the basic taming BOD system.  Collect them to find out what they are.  I believe that every tamable creature is now on a large BOD.

Grab Command
Mood:  a-ok
Added the [grab command today as well as the [grab options.  The [grab options command allows you to set all of your grab settings including the bag you would like the loot of each kind to go into and the types of loot you want to grab.

New Creatures
Mood:  cool

Kabus has been burning the midnight oil to not only add special deco to the shard, but, also to create and place new creatures.  He has created the following new bad guys:

- Orc Marksman
- Blue Dragon
- Green Dragon
- Black Solen Magus
- Black Solen Warmonger
- Blood Fire Harpy
- Kodiak Bear

 Look for them throughout the land... actually, two of them yield 2 of the 9 new leathers, too!
